MAY 31 - JUNE 7 - 2026 - A YOGA RETREAT IN THE SACRED VALLEY, PERU
Are you ready for an Adventure?
Join me in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, May 31 - June 7, 2026, for our own special yoga retreat and adventure.
We will spend a week in Ollantaytambo, getting acclimated to the altitude, doing yoga in the geodesic dome, experiencing the local culture and seeing the Incan archaeological sites in the area.
Ollantaytambo is both a town and an Incan archaeological site in southern Peru some 45 miles by road northwest of the city of Cusco. It is located at an altitude of 9,160 ft above sea level in the district of Ollantaytambo, province of Urubamba, Cusco region.
We will be staying at Las Qolqas, an eco-lodge located two kilometers to the east of Ollantaytambo. It is a short walk into town
Las Qolqas is far enough away from the villages to be surrounded by the peace and quiet, yet close enough to walk (20 minutes) to the village. Or, you can take the free shuttle into town or to the train station to Machu Picchu in under ten minutes.
The dwellings are like safari tents, built on platforms above the ground that impact the earth minimally and blend into the environment. Each tent is comfortable, climate controlled and has its own modern bathroom.
Pututu - The restaurant at las Qolqas
All of the food is organically grown and locally sourced.
We will spend a week in Ollantaytambo: getting acclimated to the altitude, exploring the area and doing yoga in the geodesic dome.
There is plenty to see and do in the area.
