Nuts & Bolts of Anatomy - Yoga For Women’s Health

Yoga postures are based on the simple principles of stretching, strengthening, bending, rotating, and relaxing. These movements have an effect on all of the body’s systems and can be used to directly stimulate or pacify specific parts of the body. This approach is holistic and can be used to awaken and strengthen each organ, bone and cell, bringing relief to some common ailments. Join Master Teacher Karin Eisen as she takes students through yoga practices designed to help alleviate some common problems:

  • 1/16: Oh, My Aching Back! (low back)

  • 2/20: Yoga To Strengthen Your Immune System

  • 3/19: Oh, My Aching Neck and Shoulders! (upper back)

  • 4/16: Oh, My Aching Hips!

  • 5/21: Oy, My Tight Hamstrings!

  • 6/18: Yoga For Women’s Health

Each session will be a combination of active poses, supported poses and breathing exercises. Explanations will be given as to what the causes of the problems may be and how yoga can help alleviate the symptoms.

6 separate classes meet once/month
Thursdays, 12:30 - 2:30pm New Hope, $35/class
*Teachers receive 2 CEUs/workshop.
